This April, as the island awakens to spring, Cavo Zoe invites you to step into the Easter celebration. From the solemnity of Good Friday to the joyful clatter of egg-cracking on Sunday, our exclusive program is a carefully curated immersion into the island's most sacred and celebratory week.
The day is yours to wander, perhaps to visit a local church to witness the "Epitafios," a bower of spring flowers cradling the sacred Sepulchre.
In keeping with the traditions, our Good Friday dinner is not a grand celebration, but a practice of togetherness and simplicity. We invite you to the DOLCE for a meal that honors the day's customs while celebrating the bounty of the sea.
The Menu – A Taste of Tradition:
In line with the fast observed by the faithful, the evening's fare will consist of a delicious monastic-style and seafood dinner. This is a plant-based meal (nistisimo), free of meat and dairy, yet showcasing the incredible generosity of the Mediterranean—where the sea provides abundantly, even on the most sacred of days.

Before the feasting begins, there is a matter of luck to settle.
Take a deep crimson egg from the bowl. Find a partner. Hold your egg firmly and tap the tip of theirs, one against the other, as one of you declares: "Christos Anesti!" The other responds: "Alithos Anesti!" ("Truly He is Risen!").
Crack! The sound echoes around the table.
Whose egg remains unbroken? According to tradition, that person will have good luck for the entire year. Challenge your neighbor. Challenge a stranger who will become a friend. The game continues until one egg stands victorious—the champion of the table.
